  636. Diego Peratoner killed in avalanche

    Diego Perathoner

    Diego Perathoner, organizer of the 2009 European Championships in Canazei, Italian Dolomites, was killed together with three other rescuers in an avalanche on December 26. Perathoner died in a rescue attempt to find two tourists who had gone off-piste, they were also killed in the tragedy. Read more…
