There can be nothing worse than cold hands (in my book anyway). The Swedes know a thing or two about keeping warm – they have to. So, when Simon @ Big Sky Agencies sent me through some Craft cold weather goodies I was rubbing my (cold) hands in glee…

Having been using the Gore glove for a wee while I really thought that unless ski gloves were to be employed my hands were just going to get cold – as great as the hat is, my hands have been cold in these.

Enter the Craft Thermal Run glove. At under a tenner (GBP) you really can’t go wrong, the brushed fabric offers enough grip to grapple with that rock or gate post whilst on the move, it also acts nicely as a sweat-wiper. The glove isn’t as slim-fitting as the Gore, and you dont feel as ‘in-touch’ when holding things, but in terms of warmth and comfort there is no comparison – really.

Running products, in our humble view, are about a mixture of function and form – you want to look reasonably good, but the kit needs to work. Discomfort is one avenue to not enjoying your run, whether on your feet or hands, luckily the Craft Thermal Run glove has a little bit of form, and a lot of function – they do exactly what they say on the packaging…

Stor!
