Roberts and Frost show the way at Penmaenmawr
Rich Roberts at Pen Fell Race 2010
The Pen Fell race always throws-up some great racing and clag, and Saturday’s event was no different as the conditions did nothing to deter almost 250 embarking on this classic 10 miler. Anna Frost romped to the ladies win, beaking Jackie Lee’s 2005 course record…
Former Welsh fell champ Rich Roberts showed the way in the men’s race with a two and a half minute victory over Gwyn Owen. Llyr Pierce was third.

2010 Skyrunning world series runner-up Frost heads out to the US next week for a crack at this big North Face 50 miler, and has found her endurance legs this summer in some of the longer skyraces. “I’m happy with my run here”, said a chilly looking Frosty, “I’ve got a few days to get myself set now before heading off to SanFrancisco for the final of the North Face Endurance series. There is a big cash prize and there should be some real quality athletes there, so today’s blast should have done me good!”

2010 Welsh fell champion Andrea Rowlands took second, some 5 mins back on Frost, Becki Law was third.
