Vernon cruises to Cardiff win
Andy Vernon - comfy Cardiff win
Andy Vernon crushed the opposition at today’s McCains Cross Challenge in Cardiff. The Aldershot athlete delivered a 30 second defeat to the feet of Stroud runner Tom Russell. Hatti Dean was also comfortable in her victory of the women’s 6km race.
GB international stepplechaser Dean won by 9 seconds from Ireland athlete Ave Hutchinson, former international-turned-triathlete Andrea Whitcombe came third in a rare appearance on the country.
