Anton and New Balance, stripped...

One of the better three minutes of film you are likely to see in 2010 is out there promoting New Balance’s new shoe and the philosophies of one of ultra-trail running’s leading lights – Anton Krupicka.

The Minimus is the shoe zeitgeist at the moment, a stripped down shoe that promotes the natural form of running, allowing free-movement…

Personally I love this film. It embodies what running is (or should be) all about, just getting out there and feeling nature and the ground under your feet, plus Anton is grounded guy who you can’t help but respect.

I have to agree it’s an awesome video. You forget that it’s actually marketing a shoe product. I just hope that the Minimus reaches the UK shores unlike the MT101’s that I so desperately want to get.

I agree. Anyone know how you can get a pair of MT101’s. I emailed New Balance and they reckon they can order from US plus S&H. Not sure how much in total. Anyone have any other ideas? Is there a similar model in UK?

I had a flyer for Blacks (the outdoor store) in a magazine claiming they were exclusive dealer for MT101 in the UK. Nothing on their website last time I checked, but might be worth giving them a ring…
