This weekend...
Will anyone get near Gareth Raven and Christine Howard’s course records at the classic Gravy Pud race this Sunday? How big will the field be at the ever-popular Cardington Cracker in Shropshire? And was there a day in the fell calendar with so many great names for races as there are this Sunday?!
You can enter the Gravy Pud on the day and avoid the queues at registration by downloading the race entry form beforehand and top GB man Andi Jones states:
Race is all looking good. Don’t forget to get your wife to bake a cake. The standard of cakes should be good this year looking at the numbers who watched the great British bake off each week!!!
There is even £25 for a new men’s or women’s course record!
Outside of the Gravy Pud and the Cracker, there are the Angus Tait Hexhamshire Hobble in Northumberland, the Eskdale Eureka on the North Yorks Moors, The Blorenge in South Wales and the Sutherlands Grove Trails up in Oban. All of the FRA races are covered here.
More info on racing for the rest of the year online from respective Welsh, English and Scottish associations here WFRA, FRA and the SHR sites. As usual take care, always take the right kit for the time of year and enjoy…
