Congleton host Passing Clouds
Congleton Harriers this weekend put on the Passing Clouds race, a 9 mile speedy off-road event on footpaths and trails around the Tittesworth Reservoir in Staffordshire, which always draws a large crowd of devoted regulars…
Entries are on the day for this one, with the past winners list housing such quality as John Brown, Simon Bailey and multiple ladies winner Jackie Lee. The route and race profile is online here.

Organiser Andy Roberts states:
This is an excellent fell race resurrected by Congleton Harriers after several years absence. Starting at Tittesworth Reservoir, the race climbs to Ramshaw Rocks and and then across open moorland before climbing and running across the top of the Roaches, over Hen Cloud before sending bact to the reservoire. It covers varied ground and offers spectacular views on a clear day.
With the calendar a little lighter this weekend, you could do a lot worse than heading over to Leek for this little gem! More info via the Congleton facebook page and Twitter feed and some footage of the 2011 race can be seen here.
