Andrea Mayr might be able to negotiate some of the world’s highest mountains with ease, however a collision with a car whilst riding her bike recently has caused the Austrian much more distress. Mayr was all set for an assault on the Obudu Ranch Mountain race last weekend when the accident occurred near her home, leaving her with a broken shoulder and head injuries… Read more…

Ethiopian runners Habtamu Awash and Manilu Daska have won the men’s and women’s titles respectively at the fifth Obudu Ranch Mountain Race, held in southern Cross River state Saturday, with each clinching the US$50,000 top prize. Read more…
