Top African mountain running nations have confirmed their participation in the first African Mountain Running Championships next month in Nigeria. The championships will hold alongside the Obudu International Mountain race

Mountain running is now firmly on the African radar, and as reported on MST newly-crowned Commonwealth champion Wilson Chemweno will be out to add the AMR crown. Someone who will have a say in that will be WMR Champion for 2009 Geoffrey Kusuro in addition to the many other African winners on the world mountain running circuit this year…

Mud, Sweat and Tears was dreamt up some time ago. I had returned to the sport of running (competitively) after around a 15 year layoff due to injury.
