Africans dominate at 'world's richest mountain race'
Ethiopian runners Habtamu Awash and Manilu Daska have won the men’s and women’s titles respectively at the fifth Obudu Ranch Mountain Race, held in southern Cross River state Saturday, with each clinching the US$50,000 top prize.
Awash won the 11-kilometre race in 42 minutes, three seconds, followed by Geoffrey Kusuro of Uganda, who came second in 42.11 and received the US$20,000 prize money
