We are lucky in the world of trail, fell and mountain running in that the surroundings are rather scenic. When we couple these surroundings with great races and great photography, it’s a recipe for visual delights…

MST is also fortunate that many photographers from around the UK (Al Tye, Gwynfor James, Andy Holden, Bryan Mills, Pete Hartley, Dave Woodhead etc.), Europe and the world share their shots with us, enabling us to share them with you.

This last week we were sent some rather good ones by pro photographers Tom Humpage (who also did some rather nice ones at last year’s UTMB) and Dan Greenall, and we think you’ll agree that they are pretty nice. From the soggy Maddy Moss race this week, to the arid altitude of the Mont Blanc Marathon, the shots depict all that is great about our off-road running sports.
