Al Andalus Ultra-Trail
The Al Andalus Ultra Trail is a super-tough 5 day, 5 stage race of around 230km from the 9-12 July. The course provides a demanding test, not just for the legs, but for a runner’s character and determination…
Temperatures are a sweltering (35-45C), climbs are numerous and long. Over 90% is off-road, mountain and desert tracks with the majority of tarmac in the final kilometers when those legs are crying for help and runners are approaching the stage finishes.
Interested?!
Well, if you fancy something hotter than July, get your name in the hat right now by logging on and entering here for what will be quite literally one of the hottest races of 2012.

About MST
Mud, Sweat and Tears was dreamt up some time ago. I had returned to the sport of running (competitively) after around a 15 year layoff due to injury.

Thanks for the plug. Actual dates are 9th to 13th, (no rest day and no night stage) Most arrive July 7th and leave on 14th. It is tough but also scenic, hot and you don’t need to carry all your kit, plus you are very well fed:)

I did this event last year and loved it. Tough, well organised and with great scenery. There was a lovely atmosphere, because everyone was friendly and helpful.
