    The legendary Western Sates 100 took place yesterday (28) in what were described as ‘sweltering’ conditions. 2007 winner Hal Koerner defended his title (there was no race in 2008) and after a steady start Anita Ortiz stormed through the field to finish first woman and an amazing 9th overall.   14. Highland Fling hat-trick for Bragg

    Jez Bragg was second in the Highland Fling when it was first run in 2006 with 17 finishers. He won it in 2007 and 2008, breaking the course record on each occasion. He repeated the feat on Saturday, when the number of finishers was 270. (SHR) Read more…
