Andy Davies at the Cardington Cracker 2010

There are some proper tough (Wuthering Hike – Haworth Hobble), short and sharp (Cardington Mill – almost 2000ft of ascent in a 5 mile race) and nice season openers (Slieve Gullion over in N Ireland) this weekend.

Other events include the Stan Bradshaw Pendle Round, the Ian Roberts from the Marsden Cricket Club, Brough Law in Northumberland, the excellent Windmills Whizz – Fell Race For Life from the Causeway Foot Inn nr Denholme and the Ras Moel Tryfan in North Wales.

Details on all of the above via the FRA and WFRA sites, and with the weather looking changeable and with snow on the tops by Sunday, pack the right kit and heed those race organisers rules!
