Cram launches 2012 Salomon Kielder Marathon
Former Olympic athlete and world record holder Steve Cram MBE this week unveiled plans for the 2012 Salomon Kielder Marathon. Now in its third year organisers are expecting 3000 entries for this year’s event…
Taking place on Sunday October 7, the event will once again follow an almost entirely off-road course around northern Europe’s largest man-made lake, Kielder Water, in Northumberland.
Billed as ‘Britain’s most beautiful marathon’, the event was a sell out the previous two years and has retained its headline sponsor – Salomon, the athletic outdoor sports company.
