Matt Carpenter

The incredible Matt Carpenter took his eighth (and sixth straight) win at yesterday’s Pikes Peak Marathon, eclipsing the field to win in 3:48:08, a full 13 minutes up on Daryn Parker…

The fact that Carpenter is now 47 years old makes his achievements all the more astounding, as he shows no signs of slowing down on this race which he has made his own over the last two decades.

Joanna Maslocski took the women’s race in 5:09:38.
