Borrowdale is this weekend
The legendary Borrowdale is on tomorrow – 17 miles of classic climbs, taking in over 7000ft of ascent over the likes of Scafell Pike. The Borrowdale boys are all down to show the way, along with hundreds of others, starting Rosthwaite Village Hall, Borrowdale at 11am…
Borrowdale is another one of those races that commands a Billy Bland course record that may never be beaten (an incredible 2hrs 34 mins!). Though the race could well see the record book once again updated if Simon Booth targets it this year. The Borrowdale runner took his 12th Borrowdale Fell Race win last year beating a quality field of seasoned fell runners.
