A fell race with a difference...
Last week we reported that top UK fell runner Chris Steele was to get married at the weekend – and then have a fell race up Melbreak hill in Cumbria! Some top fellow Borrowdale lads and lasses were also there to celebrate…
Most of Borrowdale fell runners were in attendance including many former and current fell champions including Mark Roberts, Jim Davies, Simon Booth, Keith Anderson and several more. The field also included current team inov-8 and in form runners such as Morgan Donelly, Ben Bardsley and Mike Fanning. All these guys along with lots of other runners were all up for a fell race so it became part of the celebration!
