The Fellrunner is out
It landed with a thud on the mat today, all 140 pages of it. For those of you who aren’t members and don’t receive the quaterly FRA publication The Fellrunner, then I will try and put into words what this magazine represents…
Once again the Spring issue delivers emotive imagery, top quality reporting from people under the skin of the sport of fell running, articles written by the likes of Denise Park, Yiannis Tidimas, Mark Hartell and a highly detailed results section. Photography comes from legendary fell togs such as Pete Hartley too, with a great ‘All of our Yesterdays’ feature on the 1989 Ben Nevis race, convincingly won by Keith Anderson.
This magazine isnt packed with adverts, it doesnt seem to bow down to any particular brand. It is there for, and answerable to its FRA readership. It serves them pretty damn well I would say and does a great service to the sport, through honest, captivating and credible writing.
So, if you want a great read, that takes you to the heart of a sport like no other publication in the UK can, join the FRA!

Was pleased to see our film “The Bedlamites” mentioned in this issue of the Fell Runner Magazine. The film won an award at “The Peddler” short film competition in London on 15th of July.
