The North Face® has announced an exclusive live book signing by renowned American ultra-runner, Dean Karnazes, of his book Run! 26.2 Stories of Blisters and Bliss

In the only public signing during his whirlwind trip to Europe, Dean Karnazes will appear live at The North Face® Store in Covent Garden, London, to sign copies of his new book Run! on Thursday afternoon July 7th, 2011, from 16.00-19.30.

In Run! Karnazes shares the pleasure and pain of some of his most memorable adventures, including the notorious 4 Deserts races encompassing four separate 155-mile runs across the Atacama Crossing, the Gobi, the Sahara and Antarctica, and his annual attempts at the Badwater Ultramarathon in Death Valley, California in +45 degrees’ heat.

The long-standing The North Face® team athlete recently completed a 3000-mile ‘Run Across America’ from California to New York in 75 days. His goal to inspire Americans to be active was honoured by Michelle Obama with a reception at the White House.

Dean Karnazes’ first book, Ultramarathon Man, was a New York Times bestseller translated into 12 languages. Dean has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity through his running career, and recently started his own foundation, Karno Kids.
