Definitely. As I have one. Be much easier if I was on the TR subs list (nudge, wink) but I had to wait til I got to civilisation and WH Smith before I got the evidence that the new Trail Running mag is actually out…

Well, that’s what I get for living in a remote trail running wilderness I suppose!

Anyway, it is out, and it is good. Really good actually. Plenty of reading in there for the dedicated fell runner or the off-road novice. With some great nostalgic features on fell greats, with great images of Sarah Rowell, Joss, Billy, Kenny, Mudgey, Holmsey and others. A nice lead in to off-roading with experts Sarah and Iain Ridgway, from Snowdonia, guiding you through some of the techniques to employ on the hills.

More great kit reviews, a catch-up with Ali Brownlee on his training and the green, green grass of home (Yorkshire that is), all along with events listings, trail running tips and nutrition and lots more. 147 pages of goodness. Go and buy it!

Glad it has appeared, I was beginning to think it had fizzled out. As a small contributor to this issue, I hope I eventually get a copy and that the magazine becomes a regular production in the UK where trail running seems to be really taking off.
    Adios

Had to laugh at your comment re subscription. If you check out the Trail Running Facebook page you will see a long thread of complaints from subscribers (myself included) who have not received their copy of the mag and it’s been in the shops for a week now!

About MST

Mud, Sweat and Tears was dreamt up some time ago. I had returned to the sport of running (competitively) after around a 15 year layoff due to injury.
