Historic 4th win for Jones on Snowdon
Andi Jones - 4 straight wins on Snowdon
Andi Jones took an unrivaled fourth-straight win this afternoon at the 34th International Snowdon Race. In a race which saw the Salford athlete carve out a massive lead at the summit, Jones held steady on the descent to win by a comfortable 45 seconds from super-descender Ian Holmes.
Fresh from 9th place at the European Mountain Running Championships last weekend, GB international Katie Ingram pulled out a storming run to win the women’s race by almost 8 minutes and less than three minutes shy of Carol Greenwood’s 16 year old course record – a truly superb run.
