Julien Chorier - aiming for the big one in Chamonix

Perhaps the biggest trail running event on the planet hits Chamonix this week, for that annual trail running / weather watching jamboree that is UTMB. With four days of racing getting underway very soon and drop outs and favourites re-shuffling, it should be an interesting week…

With almost every off-road running outlet offering some kind of preview, the voracious needs of the digital armchair trail runners across the world will be satisfied over for sure, with as ever some of the very best (and most reliable) coverage coming from the usual suspects as listed below.

One thing is for sure, with Kilian (the guy needs a rest!), Lizzy (injured) and Francois sitting this one out, there will be a pretty fresh name on that winners role call come Saturday. We’ll stick our necks out (!) and put our weight behind the Chorier / Krupicka camps in the men’s race, and Nuria Picas in the ladies race.
