This weekend...
The hills of Sedbergh await
Not an extensive programme this weekend on the fells, hills and mountains, but there are a few choice races to keep the interest going for the UK’s fell runners, with the Sedbergh Hills and the Lomands of Fife races amongst the weekend’s best events…
The ‘show’ and ‘games’ season is also upon us with a few up in Scotland and and the Darwen, Gargrave and Lakeland Country Fair races in the north of England. Fell races in the South West are relatively few and far between, but the Sticklepath Horseshoe really is one of the best, taking in some of Dartmoors most beautiful moorland.
Runners in Wales will certainly need their nav skills at the ready for the Nant y Moch race on Saturday, and the new Two Hill Forts race in Llandyrnog on Sunday looks interesting. The weather looks changeable to say the least (depending where you are in the country), so heed the RO’s guidelines on kit and dress for the occasion.

Enjoy!
