Julien beaten by the GR20, for now!

After a year which has seen Salomon’s top trail runners sweep all before them, it seems almost odd to be watching something which portrays less than ultimate success. But that is the beauty of the mountains, they are unpredictable…

One thing that cannot be doubted is the character and judgement of top French ultra man Julien Chorier, as this latest Salomon Running TV film Nature Sets The Pace depicts his attempt on Kilian Jornet’s GR20 crossing record time from 2009.

Unfortunately, mother nature and some seriously horrendous weather ensured that Chorier had to depart Corsica without completing the route. However, as support runner Nicholas Sisson states “He’ll try again! The mountain will still be here next year, and the year after…”
