After a successful inaugural event in 2012 the 131-mile Ring O Fire is set to return in 2013 to the Isle of Anglesey, Wales

The Ring o Fire is a 131 mile ultra marathon circumnavigating the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales, and was staged over three consecutive days this year (31 August 2012 – 2 September 2012) – following the rugged and spectacular Anglesey Coastal Path around the island.

RO Quentin Brooksbank explains:

We are very pleased to report that the 2012 Ring O’ Fire was a great success and competitor feedback suggests that the race is one of the hardest in the UK. Only 28 finished (out of 100) and there are some great blogs on our site.

But now the 2012 race is completed we are keen to get the 2013 event up and running and are offering an incentive for runners who enter the 2013 event before the end of this month.

Event date: 30 August 2013 – 1 September 2013 (3 days)
Distance: 131 miles
Fees: £149 or £99 if entered before 30th September 2012
Runners also gain 4 qualifying points for the UTMB
