We at Mud, Sweat and Tears take our hat’s off to James Hallett and Go Trail. Now onto issue #11 the South African-based publication has global appeal for those looking to discover the trails…

Flick through the 64-digital pages of the latest offering and you’ll find amazing imagery, measured and captivating writing about personal trail running conquests and left-of-centre races.

Features in this issue include Ryan Sandes’ Fish River Canyon run, Mimi Anderson’s look at the Grand2Grand race and a fascinating feature on a 4-day trail running trek in Patagonia, plus tonnes more.

When you click on cover of the mag you will notice it requires subscription, what it’s not free, isn’t everything free online these days? We’ll that is the argument from some, but others will see that for $10 (about £6.15p) you get 6 of these quality reads, which also house video, full social media interaction and are fully optimised for iPad (tablets) and mobile.
