Fresh from smashing his own course record at the recent Lakeland 100, Terry Conway has just been announced as special guest at the Andy Mouncey Ultrarunning Day at The Climbers Shop, Ambleside, The Lake District on August 18th…
Terry will be joined by his wife Annie at the event, also an ultra runner and a sixth place finisher at the Lakeland 100 in July.
Andy, who has two second place finishes at this iconic race, will be in the shop from 10am signing copies of his new book ‘Magic, Madness & Ultramarathon Running’ then at 3.30pm he will lead a free group coaching session on the on the local fell.
Mouncey’s Hill Skills For Ultras will include the chance to try a selection of trekking poles from Leki and Mountain King and see yourself running on film.
Andy’s inspirational presentation ‘It’s Not About The Distance’ starts the evening off at 7.30pm and the day finishes with a Q & A session with the Lakeland’s top ultrarunning couple, Terry & Annie Conway.
