Angela and Jethro to appear at SHAFF
The 2012 SHAFF should be a runners feast this weekend, with the likes of Unbreakable showing on the opening night. Also appearing will be mountain running legend Angela Mudge and Scots international Jethro Lennox…
The pair will talk about their spiffing new book the Worlds Ultimate Running Races.
Organiser Lissa Cook states:
‘We’ve had a brilliant response from runners to this year’s programme. Our Ultra-Running pre-festival Q&A night was a sell out and the feature length showing of Unbreakable: The Western States 100 showing which is near sell out on the opening Friday night of the festival (19.00-21.00 9th March) and the Running Films screening is selling really well on the Saturday afternoon (15.00-17.00).
We then have some excellent lectures including Angela Mudge & Jethro Lennox on the World’s Ultimate Running Races, 21.15 Fri 9th March (details here) and Charlie Spedding, From First to Last, English marathon record holder (details here)
There will also be an on-the-night charity auction to raise money for Community Action Nepal and one of the prizes will be one day’s fell running with Angela Mudge, along with a signed copy of The World’s Ultimate Running Races for one lucky winner!
