World’s top runners line up for Zegama
It’s curtains up for the annual battle of the giants at the Zegama-Aizkorri Maraton Alpina on Sunday, May 29, second leg of the 2011 Skyrunner® World Series, and heading the line-up are no less than four world champions…
Tofol Castañer and Emanuela Brizio (the 2010 Skyrunner series champions), along with skyrunning legends Kilian Jornet and Corinne Favre, will battle it out with athletes from eight countries, including 2009 race winner, Ricky Lightfoot, Tom Owens and Russian Mikhail Mamleev – second in the current ranking.
