If your navigation isn’t up to scratch you should really think about doing this. At the very least it will save a few places and a few mins in the mist on a tricky race route, at best good mountain navigation skills could save your life one day…

Following the success of last year’s navigation courses, SHR are organising another course for hill runners on the weekend of 7-8 May, based at the Dounans Outdoor Centre, Aberfoyle, in the Trossachs.
