ECCA tells XC athletes to 'spread wings'

It is the policy of the English Cross Country Association, backed by England Athletics, to send teams to International XC events to help athletes to develop and gain experience of travelling and competing against good quality athletes…

The EA team managers Eamonn Martin and Sue Lamb, along with support for the juniors through Keith Holt and Barbara Cutting, will be on hand at top international events in the UK, Spain and Belgium to encourage team members to cut their teeth abroad, giving the experience to better-cope with World and European championship conditions in the future.
