X-Talon - Grippy stuff...

Apologies in advance to reader Steve H who said that I would kiss the butt of these shoes. I suppose hundreds of fell runners can’t be wrong, and have to say that my first run (7.5 rolling miles, watching the sun come up) in Inov8’s X-Talon 212 was very impressive…

I like the neutral aspect, I really like the grip, I like the lightweight feel, though the toe box is a little tight for the shape of my foot. I will be racing and training lots more in these shoes over the coming weeks and months, and I will objectively talk about how they perform over a longer period of time, and how they stand up in all conditions – how they wear, how they adapt to my foot etc.

So far, so good, a shoe I could very easily get used to – sorry Steve!
