It’s not off-road, but it’s very interesting. The London Marathon race director doesn’t think that the British marathon scene is as strong as it was 20 years ago, feels that the Beijing Olympic marathon wasn’t up to scratch, and that Mo Farah has “some chance” of winning the 2012 Olympic marathon. Okay its hardly off-road racing, plus we dont advocate vigilantes here at MST, but when three teenagers snatched a bag belonging to 68-year-old Janet Lane they didn’t bargain on her giving chase. The fleet-footed grandmother, a champion athlete in her school days, hurtled after the three youths and managed to grab one by the collar. Read more…
