WMRA gets heads together
The project aims to provide Federations officials and coaches with the knowledge and skills necessary to raise their competence in Mountain Running and recognise it as a modern and precious part of athletics which helps improve the athletes’ performances in all endurance races.
So says the WMRA website when referring to its Mountain Running Seminar to be held at the end of April in Sapareva Banya, Bulgaria.
The seminars, running on the 24th and 25th of April, will focus on the Balkan and Eastern European regions, with the specific aim of raising awareness of mountain running and empowering its officials with the skills and tools necessary to promote and develop the sport.
Knowledge is power and the very fact that such heads as Bruno Gozzelino (ITA) – WMRA General Secretary, Tomo Sarf (SLO) – WMRA Director of Development, Adrian Woods (GBR) – WMRA Director of Marketing and Dr. Sonja Ambrosy (GER) – WMRA Antidoping commission Member, will be in attendance demonstrates that this is one serious meeting.
