The Al Andalus Ultra Trail is a super-tough 5-day, 5-stage race of around 230km from the 9th – 12th of July this year. The course provides a demanding test, not just for the legs, but for a runner’s character and determination…

Al Andalus Ultimate Trail is a 5-stage (230km) ultra-marathon in Southern Spain with numerous long climbs (7,200 meters of ascent/descent) and technical trails. With temperatures hitting a sweltering (35-45C), climbs are numerous and long and over 90% is off-road, mountain and desert tracks with the majority of tarmac in the final kilometers – when those legs are crying for help and runners are approaching the stage finishes!

Interested? Well, if you fancy something hotter than July, get your name in the hat right now by logging on and entering here for what will be quite literally one of the hottest races of 2013.

Did this race last year and am going back in 2013. Great event! Course is tough but support and camaraderie is amazing. A must do event for any ultra-runner.
