British ultra runner Jez Bragg has today begun his trail running trek on the Te Araroa. A trip that will see the North Face man cross from the North to the South of New Zealand, covering over 3000kms…

This cool infographic just about covers it all.

In addition to running Jez will also be kayaking across the various water crossings which form part of the official route, including 120 kilometres down the Whanganui River, numerous river estuaries and Lake Wakatipu.

Keep up to date with Jez’s intrepid expedition via the TNF journal, the Te Araroa Spot Messenger tracker, instagram and Jez’s twitter feed.
