This is yet another phenomenal tale in one of the most interesting personalities in the history of GB sport. In a time when knighthoods seem to be tossed about with relative regularity to some less deserving, the Queen should bestow one on one her most loyal and deserving subjects…

Famous Cumbrian fell runner Joss Naylor is doing his bit for Queen and country this week by embarking on 30 miles of fells in Wasdale, with a mere 11,000ft of ascent. Not bad for a 76-year old eh!?
