Paula Radcliffe at Font Romeu
On this evidence the world marathon record holder is a trail runner! Radcliffe is a resident of Font Romeu and at a Salomon trail camp celebrating the Kilian’s Classik event, she yesterday claimed to prefer running on the trails to the road – at least in training…
In this short film Paula states that trail running helps with general strengthening of muscles and tendons and she finds it more fun. During the session she also took part in a group run in the surrounding hills and trails of the stunning Pyrenean location.

I think it’s way cool that Paula runs trails! The Salomon trail camp sounds like a lot of fun!

I was able to ask Paula a question in a seminar a few years ago. When I asked her for her plans post 2012 she said she would never give up running but that for competition she would be doing fell races.
