The Fell Cross!!

Some early teases of next winter’s Salomon releases have made their way online, via the Salomon running UK Facebook page. The most interesting shoe to many of the readers of this site may well be the all new Fell Cross shoe…

Developed with the help of some of the UK’s top fell runners the Fell Cross is a low profile shoe with a studded sole and pretty lightweight – utilising the classic Speed Cross upper design and Quicklace system.

It’ll be a while before the shoe sees light of day, but who knows, a little excitement from the market might get it pulled forward!

Is the word ‘fell’ specific to the UK, will it be called something different overseas?

Interesting product, definitely worth a look. Liked a lot about the Speed-Cross but it was too high in the heel for me to be used for anything except leisurely runs.

If this one is low enough it could be a top-class shoe.
