The Spirit React

Walsh, the British shoe brand which has been producing quality footwear for over 40 years, is launching a new style to add to its trail running offering for Winter 2010. The brand new Spirit React is a multi-functional shoe which is ideal for use in all off road conditions…

Full brand release:

Priced at £75, the shoe is an ideal winter trail running and multi activity choice, the Spirit React is waterproof and breathable and has a durable upper design providing great foot support and ensuring performance in all conditions.

Like all shoes in the Walsh Trail Running collection, the Spirit React features the new Pyra Grip sole unit. Building on the traditional Walsh fell running sole, the Pyra Grip unit offers a stud configuration which will maximise grip and aid forward propulsion in key areas. Its EVA midsole will also help with stability and control when being used in more rugged environments.

The Sprit React joins the existing Spirit Peak and Lite which were launched in Spring 2010 and have received a great feedback from journalists and customers alike. Walsh’s long heritage and long standing knowledge of fell and trail running has enabled a performance range to be developed which will meet all your running needs.

All shoes in the Walsh collection are available in sizes for men and women and weighing only 310g you won’t be weighed down when out on the hills.

Does anyone have any feedback on the Walsh Spirit Lite. I am considering it for the CCC this August. I have heard it is quite inflexible which if true might concern me.
