Jethro Lennox

Murray Strain handed Jethro Lennox a big defeat at the classic Two Breweries race on Saturday in bright, but breezy, conditions. So quick was the Scots international mountain runner and orienteer that he wasn’t captured on the race images!

Beating fellow international Lennox by nearly 9 mins, Strain showed that his recent O racing at the world champs has put him in fine form. Stuart Whitlie was third.

Ochil runner Andrea Priestley easily won the ladies race, from Ellen Homewood, her time of 3:22 good enough for 18th overall out of the 150 starters on the 27th running of the race.

I got him at the halfway aid station:

But I missed him at the end.
