Trans Alp Day 2: Andy, Tom and cool pics!
The hope, from a sporting and organisational perspective, is that the 2010 Trans Alpine Run doesn’t turn into a procession for Andy Symonds and Tom Owens. However, the British pair are not bothered with such frivolities as demonstrated by yet another show of class in Kitzbuhel this morning…
The Salomon pair notched up 2 from 2 with a 16 min win over the German Orthomol team. Angela Mudge and Andrew ‘Chunky’ Liston won the mixed cat by a good margin once again and now lead by 20 minutes going into day 3. The Italian Team Sexten Salomon lead the women’s category.
However, as ever the media surrounding this event is phenomenal. Whether it is the footage (to be edited) or the amazing post-race shots produced by the Barracuda and others, now online at the Salomon running Facebook page.
