So there I was, making a coffee in Corris (mid Wales) cafe on Weds afternoon. In there was a young lady in bike gear out for a spin, non other than top fell runner Jackie Lee. The Isle of Man resident was back in North Wales on a bit of a holiday…
I suggested that she might run today’s Elidir Fawr race, not knowing where her break was taking her Jackie said she wasn’t sure.
Three days later and it seems that Lee, and partner Lloyd Taggart, decided to tackle the big Eryri hill, with an inevitable double win for the international duo.
