Davies cooks 'em at the Welsh1000m
The images tell the story of this weekend’s Welsh 1000m race, which finished amongst the Saturday pilgrimage on the summit of Snowdon. It was hot, very hot, especially for those embarking on the 22mile full course…
There is also an 8 mile race from Ogwen, which saw wins for Eryri Harriers Paul Jenkinson and Jenny Heming. In the classic full route that takes in Carnedd Dafydd, Llewelyn and Ugain before summiting yr Wyddfa it was a clear win for Welsh international, and 3-time winner of the Snowdon Race, Tim Davies, who pulled away from a valiant Sam Smith as they ascended Snowdon in the last hour.
Andrea Rowlands won the ladies race from Phoebe Webster.
