Hope takes glory at Glaramara
Bit late on this one – but better late than never! The lesser known of the fell running Hope brothers, Danny is fast gaining on his speedier British Fell champ sibling Rob in 2010. This was underlined on Sunday as the Pudsey runner romped to the win at Glaramara...
Hope won by a highly comfortable 2mins 43 secs from Borrowdale men Paul Cornforth and Steve Birkinshaw. In contrast the women’s race was one of the closest of any recent fell race with the top three women finishing consecutively within 25 seconds of each other!
