Kilian arrives...

However, this year it’s time to go long, very long. How about crossing the Pyrenees?! “It will take about a week, running 10-11 hours a day”, hmmm, quite a long run then. Then you need to take into account that this is also across some of the roughest and toughest terrain in Europe.

Not content with going far Kilian is also going to go high, 6000m high, all the way to the top of Africa’s highest peak, Kilimanjaro. A run that will starve him of oxygen and push his physiology to the limits. It appears that Kilian has not run in Africa, a new continent, a new experience, which will also make for some more extraordinary footage.

Kilimanjaro!

Episode 2 of his 2010 Quest ends with the date for the next installment, May 18th, and we reckon that the running hasn’t stopped here, as there will no doubt be further announcements and some more extraordinary running adventures for this extraordinary runner.
