English Champs - round 2!
Battle resumes today at Coniston. After sitting out the 3 Peaks last week past winner Rob Jebb will be raring to go at this one, as will 2010 3 Peaks winner Morgan Donnelly. Looking at the start list it’s a whos who of the current crop of elite English fell runners.
2009 British fell champ Rob Hope, 2009 English champion Simon Bailey, Noon Stone runner-up Lloyd Taggart, Silent Valley winner Andy Symonds – the list goes on. Pippa Maddams will surely be the girl to beat over the 9 mile course, as racing gets under way at 12.30 from Shepherds Bridge.
