Yr Aran, 2009

The Edale Skyline takes place this Sunday, all 21 miles of it. A classic long one, made specially harder as it is in the early season and can be open to some foul weather. (mild and probably wet this w/e by all accounts)

The Edale profile!

2009 English Fell champ Simon Bailey is listed, as is top female Jackie Lee, for what should be a memorable race. Meanwhile, over in Wales Ras yr Aran takes place. Another classic jaunt up one of north Wales’s more technical mounts.

In Scotland the lung burster at Chapelgill kicks off the 2010 SHR / Run4It series too – 2 miles and 1500’ of climbing! Jeeze…
