Snowdon 2010 is open!
But be quick. Race entry forms are now online for download, then to be sent to race admin – entry opened at midnight today (1 March). The race organisers have an entry limit of 500, plus international / elite invitation runners, and at 12pm today over 200 forms had been downloaded.
Last year the race was declared full within 5 weeks, this year organisers expect this to be the case much sooner. 4-time winner Andi Jones is set to return again this year to make it 5 in a row, however race organisers are looking to line-up a stellar field to ensure that Jones has his hands full on the 24th of July
“We are chuffed with the early reaction to race entries going live. I can see us having to close entries in a few weeks this year”, said organiser Stephen Edwards.
“We have made some big strides forward this year in attracting new sponsors and making the race an even bigger event on the Welsh sporting calendar. We are also trying hard to recruit some of the world’s best mountain runners to this year’s race and will announce a very special guest starter of this year’s race in the coming weeks”.
